The museum offers educational activities that help the public interact with the works, experience the museum with an active visiting experience that allows them to share emotions with others and create moments of well-being.
The target audiences for educational programs are: Schools, Families with children, out-of-school youth, people with visual, hearing and cognitive disabilities, and people living with Alzheimer.
For people with visual or hearing disabilities, the museum offers a guided tour to explore the tactile stations installed for the project A MUSEUM FOR ALL.
In addition, together with the Fondazione Musei Senesi system, the museum is part of the “Musei Toscani per l'Alzheimer” network, creating meeting opportunities planned and designed by qualified staff for people living with dementia and their caregivers, because living with Alzheimer's is a condition that also involves those who accompany and support.
Although the activities have no therapeutic intentions, as of 2019 the Tuscany Region includes them among the "services provided for the care and family support of people with dementia."
