Quest'anno il Festival Bluetrusco celebra 60 anni di ricerche, scavi e scoperte archeologiche nel nostro territorio. Vi aspettiamo per un ricco fine settimana tra archeotrekking, conferenze, sapori antichi e spettacoli evocativi.

📌 IL PROGRAMMA IN DETTAGLIO:

🔹 MATTINA (Sabato 18 e Domenica 19) – Ore 9:00

ARCHEOTREKKING A POGGIO CIVITATE

Ritrovo davanti al MAMU (Museo Archeologico di Murlo). 

Il gruppo sarà accompagnato da Barbara Anselmi, Presidente dell’Associazione Culturale di Murlo, naturalista murlese esperta del territorio.

Il percorso escursionistico è quello dell’Anello di Poggio Civitate, lungo circa 4,5 km e percorribile in circa 1:30h di camminata. Difficoltà facile da affrontare con abbigliamento e calzature idonee. Dato il periodo si consiglia di munirsi di acqua.

Segue l'eccezionale visita guidata agli scavi aperti insieme al Prof. Anthony Tuck, direttore degli scavi, della University of Massachusetts Amherst. 

Al rientro, visita guidata al Museo e "Ristoro del viandante" con specialità locali (salumi di cinghiale, pecorino con composta, panzanella, bruschette e ottimo vino).

CONFERENZE (Ingresso Libero)

Presso la Piazza della Cattedrale, Murlo Castello. Introduzione a cura di Marco Firmati (Direttore scientifico del MAMU). Interventi di spicco con esperti e archeologi: Giulio Paolucci, Elena Sorge, Jacopo Tabolli e il Prof. Anthony Tuck che svelerà in anteprima le ultime ricerche e scoperte su Poggio Civitate.

Ore 20:30 BANCHETTO ETRUSCO e SIMPOSIO

In Piazza delle Carceri, Murlo Castello. Un'esperienza gastronomica unica basata sui prodotti della terra, della caccia e della pesca combinati secondo gli ingredienti conosciuti dagli antichi etruschi. La cena sarà intervallata da uno spettacolo di Archeomusica con strumenti ricostruiti, canti e danze a cura di Francesco Landucci, Francesca Angotti e l'Associazione Culturale Nereides Danze Antiche con le danzatrici Michela Meloni e Francesca Baruffa.

Un suggestivo tour guidato notturno all'interno delle sale del Museo Archeologico.

This year, the Bluetrusco Festival celebrates 60 years of archaeological research, excavations, and discoveries in our area. We look forward to welcoming you for a rich weekend of archaeotrekking, conferences, ancient flavors and evocative performances.

📌 DETAILED PROGRAM:

🔹 MORNING (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19) – 9:00 AM ARCHAEO-TREKKING AT POGGIO CIVITATE

Meeting point in front of the MAMU (Archaeological Museum of Murlo).

The group will be accompanied by Barbara Anselmi, President of the Cultural Association of Murlo, a local naturalist and expert on the territory.

The hike follows the Poggio Civitate Loop, which is about 4.5 km long and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. It is an easy trail to be tackled with suitable clothing and footwear. Given the season, bringing water is highly recommended.

Followed by an exceptional guided tour of the open excavation sites with Prof. Anthony Tuck, Director of Excavations from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Upon return: Guided tour of the Museum and the "Wayfarer's Refreshment" featuring local specialties (wild boar cold cuts, pecorino cheese with compote, panzanella, bruschette, and excellent wine).

🔹 AFTERNOON (Saturday 18) – 6:00 PM CONFERENCES (Free Admission)

At Piazza della Cattedrale, Murlo Castello.

Introduction by Marco Firmati (Scientific Director of MAMU).

Featuring prominent experts and archaeologists: Giulio Paolucci, Elena Sorge, Jacopo Tabolli, and Prof. Anthony Tuck, who will present an exclusive preview of the latest research and discoveries on Poggio Civitate.

🔹 EVENING (Saturday 18)

• 7:30 PM – GUIDED TOUR OF THE MUSEUM
• 8:30 PM – ETRUSCAN BANQUET AND SYMPOSIUM

At Piazza delle Carceri, Murlo Castello.

A unique gastronomic experience based on local produce, hunting and fishing, combined using ingredients known to the ancient Etruscans. The dinner will be interspersed with an Archaeo-music performance featuring reconstructed instruments, songs, and dances by Francesco Landucci, Francesca Angotti, and the Nereides Ancient Dance Cultural Association with dancers Michela Meloni and Francesca Baruffa.

An atmospheric night-time guided tour through the rooms of the Archaeological Museum.
